    How does GetJobsDone work?

On GetJobsDone, companies can place assignments that students perform for a fixed fee. Companies themselves choose a student for the assignment based on motivation, profile and reviews. Students carry out the assignment without Chamber of Commerce registration or (temporary) contract. Knowing more? Read more via the buttons below.

    Is GetJobsDone an intermediary?

No, we are a platform, comparable to a marketplace. GetJobsDone only brings supply and demand together. There is direct contact between client and student about an assignment.

Students

Will I receive an (employment) contract?

Work on the platform is based on an assignment agreement. No agency or employment contract is required for this. As a student you do not need a Chamber of Commerce registration to carry out assignments.

As soon as the client approves you for an assignment, the assignment agreement is automatically drawn up. You can digitally sign this in your dashboard.

Do I need a Chamber of Commerce registration?

No, on the platform we work on the basis of an assignment agreement and the additional income principle. You do not have to be self-employed or have a Chamber of Commerce registration to carry out an assignment.

Do I have to pay taxes on my earned money?

In the Netherlands you can earn up to €8,450 (in 2022) tax-free. This means that you do not pay income tax and wage tax on your earned money or income. Any student loans are excluded from this and you therefore do not have to include it.

You must declare what you earn on your annual tax return form to the Tax and Customs Administration. But as long as you stay below $8,450 per year, nothing will be deducted from that.

    When do I get paid?

After an assignment has been completed and the company has written a review about you, the assignment value is released. The payment will then be processed in the payment system, after which it will be on your account within 2 working days.

Can I still unsubscribe from an assignment after registration?

In the unlikely event that you are unable to carry out the assignment, you communicate this with the client via the chat function. Because we work with an assignment agreement, the assignment can also be carried out at a later time in consultation with the client.

If you are no longer going to carry out the assignment, the client can cancel the assignment.

I have completed the order, but have not received my money yet. What now?

Once the order has been completed, the order value will be paid within 2 working days. Isn't this the case. Then the following situations are possible:

Your account is not linked to a checking account, so the money has nowhere to go. You can easily link your bank account by logging in to your browser. In your dashboard, click on your name > my profile > and choose change bank details. Here you can link your bank account to your account using iDeal.

The student and/or the client has not yet signed the assignment agreement. This must be signed prior to the execution of the assignment. You can find the agreement in the dashboard. Click on your name in the top right corner of your dashboard and choose 'Agreements'.

The client still has to leave a review. With a positive review, the client completes the assignment and payment is initiated. After this, the money will be deposited into your account within 2 working days.

Have the above points been done and have you not received your payment after 2 working days? Please contact us via the contact page or send an email to support@getjobsdone.nl.

    Who pays me?

The money will be deposited into your account by the Online Payments Foundation. This is the payment provider that transfers the payments from the clients to the contractors. The clients are responsible for the payments and must also ensure that the payments are made as quickly as possible so that the assignments can be completed. GetJobsDone can only monitor this, but cannot advance payments, as we are a platform and not an employment agency.

What if the company does not facilitate me enough to carry out the assignment?

You can contact the client via the chat function and ask for more explanation or a clearer briefing. Try to execute the command in the best possible way.

If things don't go as hoped, please contact us via the contact page or send an email to support@getjobsdone.nl. After completing an assignment, you can leave a review about the assignment and the company. Here you have the opportunity to substantiate your opinion. In the event of a bad review, we will contact the student and the client.

The client is not satisfied and does not want to pay me, what now?

Contact the client and ask for feedback so that you can adjust the assignment. This way you can still deliver the assignment to the satisfaction of the client. Before carrying out the assignment, make sure that you have clearly agreed what the purpose of the assignment is and what the result should be.

If the client indicates that he is dissatisfied with the performance of the assignment, he can indicate this by leaving a bad review. With a bad review, you will not be paid automatically. Contact us via the contact page or via support@getjobsdone.nl. We will then contact both the student and the client to find a suitable solution.

No, you are not insured through GetJobsDone. Most Dutch people are insured with WA (liability insurance). So if you make damage, the client can claim your liability insurance. With this you run little risk.

What if a student doesn't show up/doesn't do his job?

First contact the student via the chat function or by telephone. Discuss whether the student can still carry out the assignment, possibly at a later time. If this is not the case or if you cannot get hold of the student, you can cancel the assignment by assessing it with a 0-star review.

If you still want to have the assignment executed, you can easily repeat the assignment (free of charge) in your dashboard.

I am dissatisfied with the student's work, what now?

It is important that you provide a clear assignment description so that the student has a clear picture of the output to be delivered. Based on the reviews, CV and motivation, you decide whether the student is suitable to carry out your assignment. Are you ultimately not satisfied with the result? Give the student feedback and offer the opportunity to improve the assignment.

Are you still not satisfied with the result? You can then complete the assignment with a 0-star review. In the event of a bad review, the student will not be paid. In this situation, we will contact both the student and the company.

You can easily repeat the assignment in your dashboard and have it performed by another student.

As a company, can I select a student for the assignment myself?

Yes, you choose a student or students from all registrations for the assignment. The number depends on how many students you need. You can indicate this when creating an assignment.

    Do I receive an invoice

Yes, as a company you receive two invoices; an invoice for the monthly subscription costs, including last month's placement fee. You will receive a separate invoice for the student's payment (the assignment value).

What do I pay VAT on?

You only pay VAT on the subscription costs. No VAT is added on the assignment value because the assignment takes place between student and company.

How do I know if the quality of the work delivered is good?

A company itself selects the student(s) for the assignment. To choose a qualified student, it is therefore important that you take a good look at the profile of the student. The selection procedure is made easier because you can view the work experience, education and skills of the student and reviews of previous assignments. In addition, the client can request references or a portfolio via the chat function.

Is the student insured through GetJobsDone?

No, the student is not insured through GetJobsDone. In the event of damage, the company may have a claim under the student's liability insurance.

Wat is de refund policy van GetJobsDone met betrekking tot betaalde abonnementsgelden?
